We were once again honored to spend the day making over some amazing breast cancer warriors for our 2022 True Strength Initiative.
TIH True Strength Cancer Makeover – October ’21
We held our annual #TrueStrength makeover of women who are going through cancer or in remission. For 2021 we partnered with Woodhull hospital Cancer Treatment center to makeover 5 amazing beauties for a day of pampering and lunch. We supplied full hair, makeup and clothing as well as a beautiful luncheon as our gift to them.

Makeover for Cancer patients at Woodhull hospital
As a part of our company’s #TrueStrength initiative, We were thrilled to support Woodhull’s hospital Cancer awareness fashion show by providing complimentary makeovers for three beautiful women: Jacqueline Abreu, Davi and Cortillda Rosendo.
TIH supports the United Luz Foundation
As a part of our True Strength Initiative we lend our support annually to the United Luz Foundation in their efforts to help women and children dealing with abuse and mental health.

On December 5, 2016, TrueIndianHair had an amazing launch party for our new wig line MarcelloCosta by TrueIndianHair which is a partnership line of colored wigs with celebrity stylist Marcello Costa; This was also a benefit gala for The American Cancer Society held at the Prince George Ballroom in NYC. All proceeds raised at the gala went to ACS.
The 1st collection of MarcelloCosta by TrueIndianHair will be available in February at www.marcellocostabytrueindianhair.com. One of every 20 wigs sold will be donated to ACS.

True Indian Hair launched The TRUE STRENGTH Campaign, its charitable initiative focused on women’s health, with TRUE STRENGTH MAKEOVER DAY, on October 23, 2014
Three Breast Cancer Survivors: Deneice, Jennifer, and Maria-received head-to-toe makeovers courtesy of our Celebrity Glam Squad. Each woman was diagnosed with breast cancer under the age of 40.
New hotspot, Brooklyn Wine Yard, hosted the grand reveal, where their families saw their new looks!
